Breath is our first and last connection to life.It is the rhythm of the universe, the pulse that moves through us all.
Long before words, before stories, before identity - there was breath.
It’s the first thing we take as we arrive earthside, and the final thing we release when our spirit returns home.
Every moment in between is shaped by it, our emotions, our nervous system, our energy, our aliveness.
When we breathe consciously, we remember. We reconnect with the flow of life that has always held us. We soften the walls we’ve built to survive and allow the body to feel again.
Inside The Temple Spaces, breath is not a technique - it’s a ceremony. We work with it gently, intuitively, as a bridge between the physical and the divine. Each inhale gathers what we need, each exhale releases what no longer belongs.
It’s why I bring breath into every cacao ceremony and healing session. .Before the medicine touches our lips, we open through breath - clearing the day, grounding the body, softening into presence.
The breath becomes the invitation for the cacao to enter and together they move like a dance —the plant, the body, the spirit, each remembering the other.
When the breath deepens, the heart opens. When the breath steadies, the nervous system feels safe again. This is how we return - not through force, but through rhythm.
The breath teaches us that we don’t need to reach for healing. It’s already moving through us.
Every inhale, every exhale - a wave of remembrance.A living prayer. A communion with life itself.
And when the ceremony ends,we close as we began - with breath. A single inhale, a single exhale,a sacred bow to the rhythm that carries us through it all.
Because breath is life. Breath is spirit. Breath is home.
