VADMA

VĀDMA - A nervous system reset

Vādma (also written Vadma) is an Ayurvedic neuro-somatic ritual. It combines massage, conscious touch, breath and sensory elements in an experience designed to support deep rest.

Often described as a nervous system reset, the practice invites a shift towards a more restful state. No substances are taken, and it doesn’t rely on intense breathing.

People report experiences including stillness, lightness and emotional release. Each person responds differently, and no particular experience or outcome is guaranteed.

What drew me to Vādma was the possibility of experiencing something beyond what I could understand or explain. After thirty years of exploring healing, I was still curious about what I hadn’t yet experienced. That curiosity took me to Mallorca to train as a Certified Vādma Practitioner.

I now offer private and group sessions at The Temple Spaces in Denham, Buckinghamshire, with time to arrive, settle and turn your attention towards yourself.

Vādma is the newest part of a journey I’ve been on for thirty years. My background spans Reiki and Sekhem, intuitive healing, breathwork, yoga and bodywork.

Your appointment takes place in person and lasts approximately two hours. Before any hands-on work begins, we’ll discuss your health history, what the session involves and your consent.

There is room for your questions and for anything you feel unsure about.

Having someone work closely with your body involves trust and I respect the time it can take to feel comfortable.

F A Q's

Who is Vadma for?

Vādma is for both men and women, and I welcome everyone to private and group sessions at The Temple Spaces in Denham. It isn't suitable if you have a heart condition or take heart medication. Please let me know about any other medications or health conditions before booking, and check with a qualified healthcare professional about any medical or mental-health concerns. Vādma does not replace medical or psychological treatment, and only one full session should be received in a day.

What actually happens in a session?

We begin with a conversation about your health, what you'd like from the session, and what it involves, so you can ask anything before we start. Then you sit down, fully clothed and comfortable, and I guide you through the ritual. All you need to do is receive.

Is Vādma the same as breathwork?

No. Breath is part of the experience, but Vādma is not breathwork. There's no intense breathing, no visualisation, and no effort required from you. No substances are taken.

How many sessions will I need and can I come to a group?

You’re welcome to begin with a single session and see how you feel before deciding whether to return. Vādma has five levels: the first three are available in group sessions, while the two higher levels are offered privately. We can talk through the options and what would be appropriate for you.

Why choose me for Vadma

I bring thirty years of exploration and experience across Reiki, Sekhem, intuitive healing, breathwork, yoga and bodywork. Those years have taught me to listen closely and respect how differently people respond. In a session with me, there is time to ask questions, say what you need and be met with care and attention.
